Ecobuild starts a week today (26-28 February 2008) at Earls court. "Europe's biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment".

It's a fabulous resource for anyone considering constructing anything, or adding 'eco-friendly' features to your existing house such as solar panels, water recovery etc. etc. etc.

Although it's primarily targetted at professionals, we went last year as individual 'punters' and the exhibitors (there are more than 500 of them) were only too happy to chat to us and give us advice.

There are lots of seminars too on all sorts of things, such as going zero-carbon or building with natural materials. Many of them are free.

There's probably still time to register.
