Sustainable development fund

Surrey Hills has obtained funding from Defra and Natural England to 'promote innovative projects that demonstrate sustainable use of the Surrey Hills'.

That is, there are grants to back projects in 2007/2008 which 'develop and test new methods of achieving a more sustainable way of life in this area of great beauty and diversity'.
